Brecon

Brecon - an overview!

Without doubt Brecon is one of the most pretty market towns in Wales.

Nestled in the bosom of the Brecon Beacons, the town is currently undergoing a renaissance. Without changing its traditional character the town is blossoming into a beautiful destination and if you have not been to Brecon for a while, you must come and enjoy a completely new experience.

Brecon is regarded as one of the most historic locations in Wales. It is situated at the confluence of the rivers Usk & Honddu, the latter providing the towns Welsh name 'Aberhonddu'. Boasting a cathedral, theatre, cinema, castle ruins, stunning Georgian architecture as well as a canal basin Brecon is a great choice for an extended visit!
